The Appeal is spreading - we now have donors in New Zealand, Switzerland, Australia, Laos, Ireland, Spain, Wales, UK, USA, Thailand, France, The Nederlands, and Germany. Come on World!
We’ve made some changes to the invitation page to make it easier for you to check on how the friends you’ve invited are getting on. Now when you log-on through the menu link above, the invitation page will tell you which of your friends have donated, and how many Prize-Draw entries you have gained so far!

In Tararu Valley, the native clematis is flowering like long pearl necklaces hanging in the giant rata trees. Species like Monarch Butterflies, Shining Cuckoos, Welcome Swallows, and Paradise Ducks are returning from their Winter migrations.
The Pilgrim Geese are nesting in their usual inconvenient places - like directly outside the Centre's main entrance - honking and flapping at all who dare pass ... which is basically everybody, several times a day!
The 'growth energy' of this Appeal goes hand-in-hand with the vitality of the Rainforest ecosystem - which is never more evident than right now, in Spring-time.

We've listened to your feedback and re-built (and hopefully simplified) the Website homepage. We'd love it if you took a look and tell us if it works for you (or not) - thank you!
There's also a new "invite people" mechanism with a link at the top of every webpage. So please do follow this and invite a few more people... Invite Your Friends

Liana was a volunteer for the Valley in 2004. She's an architect with a passion for green design.
Two of Liana's friends have already donated, so within 24 hours of our launching, Liana's the first person in with a chance to win 2 of those air-tickets!
We've also really appreciated people's feedback:
"I sent in a [$US100] donation... I have probably a hundred people to send this to." ~ Joyce M., Seattle, USA
"I'll get onto it mate. Well done on pulling all the threads together for this big project." ~ Kirk T., Melbourne, Australia

The Rainforest-Help Appeal was launched today to support the work of Tararu Valley Sanctuary, New Zealand. We're very excited to launch this Appeal - after 8 months of continuous effort - and we hope you enjoy the information, photographs, and this opportunity to help.
The Appeal has an exciting incentive - a major Prize-draw offers multiple chances to win 2x Around-the-World air-tickets. These tickets will enable each winner and their companion to travel from their home countries to the New Zealand Rainforest via an Around-the-World route of their own choosing. Winners can visit the New Zealand Rainforest they're helping protect... and several other global destinations of their choice.
The Rainforest-Help Appeal website has been kindly translated into German, Dutch, Spanish and French by volunteer supporters. We're asking people from all over the World to make a small donation to support the Sanctuary's Rainforest protection work. Donors can then invite their friends to help via emails, banners, or posters and so gain a potentially unlimited number of Prize-draw entries.
The funds raised from the Appeal will be used to protect Tararu Valley Rainforest by reducing land debt, reforestation, and the creation of predator-proof fencing to re-establish primary habitat for threatened and endangered Rainforest species - both plants and animals.
Please let us know what you think! Give us your feedback: appeal@rainforest-help.com
Support the Rainforest-Help Appeal and no matter where you live - you could win 2x World trips - while helping preserve a very area of New Zealand Temperate Rainforest.

The Rainforest-Help Appeal will gratefully accept donations in any VALID currency - even a mix of currencies - to the equivalent value of US$2 or greater - which you can post to any one of our 10 postal addresses in: New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, USA, France, Greece, Canada, and the Netherlands.
One supporter, Andrew Hepworth from Bristol, England writes: "I just gathered up my foreign bank notes and stuck them in an envelope to you… I’d forgotten I even had them and feels great to help. Good luck with this appeal!"
Perhaps you too have some "old paper notes " left over from your last overseas trip which you'd like to swap for "new rainforest wood"?
