That's right - when 2 or more of your friends make a donation of any size to the Rainforest-Help Appeal you will be automatically entered in this Prize-draw.
Your tickets will fly you, and your travel-partner, from the closest major airport in your home country, to visit the New Zealand Rainforest you've helped protect AND several other global destinations of your choice!
For example, a winner in Frankfurt, Germany could fly to:
- • New Delhi (India)
- • Bangkok (Thailand)
- • Melbourne, then Sydney (Australia)
- • Auckland & visit the New Zealand Rainforest
- • Honolulu (Hawaii)
- • Los Angeles, then on to New York (USA)
- • London (England)
- • finally return to Frankfurt.
... all with the travel companion of your choice!

Winners can decide their own routing in accordance with the Prize-draw air-ticket conditions (see below).

PRIZE-DRAW RULES & CONDITIONS
1. PRIZES: Each prize will consist of Around-the-World air-tickets for 2 persons. Prizes will be available 30 days after the completion of this Appeal. Each pair of tickets allow the winners to fly from a major city in their home country to Auckland, New Zealand and several other global destinations of their choice.
2. There will be at least two Around-the-World air-tickets for 2 persons to be won (initially four tickets in total). As more people donate to the Rainforest-Help Appeal, more air-tickets will be added and the overall number at any time will be published on the news page.
3. A valid entry into the Prize-draw occurs when 2 people you have invited make a donation to the Rainforest-Help Appeal – WITHIN 5 DAYS of your invitation. For every additional two people you invite who make a donation you gain another entry into the draw, as follows:
- • 2 friends donating = 1 entry
- • 4 friends donating = 2 entries
- • 10 friends donating = 5 entries …
4. At least one of the two people using each of the 2 air-tickets must be a legal adult in their home country. Each ticketed trip must commence within one year of winning. Each trip must terminate less than one calendar year after commencement. Ticket winners are bound by all additional requirements of use specified by the issuing airline.
5. Changes to routes, cancellations, air-taxes and any costs beyond the initial airline tickets are the responsibility of the winners.
6. To be valid, your entry must also include:
- a. your full legal name
- b. your country of residence
- c. a valid email address. This is how winners will be contacted.
7. Your ticketed route must include Auckland New Zealand. This does not need to be your first or last destination and can be any time of the year for any length of stay you choose.
8. All winners will be notified by email and have 10 calendar days to respond. Failure to respond within this time will result in replacement winners being randomly drawn.
9. This Prize-draw is open to any person in the World regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or language. Employees of Tararu Valley Sanctuary are not eligible, but all and any past and future volunteers and supporters of the Sanctuary are eligible and very welcome.
10. Winners will be randomly drawn by the Rainforest-Help Appeal Prize-draw Judging Committee. Their decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into. This prize-draw is bound exclusively by New Zealand law. By participating, entrants agree to accept all the listed rules and conditions.
11. The Prize-draw will close on 31 December 2007. Tararu Valley Sanctuary reserves the right to extend the deadline of the Prize-draw if the Rainforest-Help Appeal has not completed.
12. We are not liable for the loss, delay, alteration, manipulation, or misdirection of emails and/or data which may occur at data-entry, -compilation, -transfer and/or data-storage, which is caused by external data-networks, in particular the internet and WWW.
13. We are not liable for misinformation with regard to the Prize-draw conveyed by participants or third parties or their hard-and-software. We cannot be held liable for theft or destruction of data-storage systems and/or storage media, or for the unauthorised Alteration / Manipulation of data by participants or third parties. We are also not liable for any damage or loss that occurs to the winner in connection with the prize.
14. We reserve the right to end the prize-draw, if the prize-draw process is sabotaged or cannot run according to plan, for example in the case of infection of computers with viruses, of faults of soft-and-hardware, and/or for other technical or legal reasons, which have an impact on the security, the integrity, the administration and/or the correct performance of the prize-draw. In such cases We further have the right to modify the prize-draw at our own discretion. All parties involved will be informed of any such action.
15. While translations of this Appeal and these rules and conditions will be provided in several languages, any discrepancy in the terms in any language from these terms in English will be irrelevant. Tararu Valley Sanctuary and Prize-winners will be bound to operate the Prize-draw only by the conditions as stated in English on this page.
